Trip to Hanoi... new horizon is all that i can say... do pack and go, dont hesitate any further...

oops, please make sure you know how to speak some of their language, practise urself in throwing rubbish anywhere and everywhere u like, simply enjoy being horn by the vehicles, push those fellows aside that block your way and eat at all restaurants rather than little stalls at the road side alright..

1st day, 1st destination, Halong Bay...thats our vesssel....with scenic views and a *dunno simik* cave coz aeroplane by the tour guide...cheers~

close to our vessel, the floating plank..where our very first moment of being *tok* experience begin loo.. standing on the floating plank, we catched a glance of these..

well, we bought each of us a crab and a lala / big cockle ? dunno simik tung tung ..not again huh?again lor~
Ta Da...our lunch for the day.. about RM250... they were steamed alive oo.. should be nice ooo...but AHEM! chewing rubber and licking shells... haha end of story...

after lunch, we reached the cave, looking out for great view..i bet these two babes caught some great views...



Thats all for the 1st day... after dinner at a restaurant...we went to our pre-booked hotel...according to the driver its 25km away..so he charged us another US$30... but in actual facts its less than 5km...LOL



Next morning, we went to the casino which was recommended to go... but it was closed down and had move into a hotel building... we were like some kind of idiots.. as we walked into the so called casino..basically is just a room with few tables with two gamblers only ..the games available are only BArcarat..boooo~ HOW THE GAMBLERS (Below: Gambler aka GAYS)ALL THE WAY FROM KCH TAHAN THAT?








Oh yea..during our casino trip that early morning, we didnt even have a chance to grab our breakfast...coz our driver is an iron man, so we have to be one also... we only ate tidbits..choco pies, bread and lots of bananas to fill our hungerrrrrr...arggghhhh...



Finally we were in Hanoi city... whew... great relieves eh? FOOD!! just eat dunno what they are called anyway haha..apa simik to chiak simik ma :)

Above is my favourite cafe, Avalon..its more cosy at night...plus more chances to spot for GRADE A right? Gays? LOL

this is the place where there are many stalls under one roof and you need to queque up for your seat...the food are cheaper than those we had at the road side though..more to erm.. well hello are we being slaughtered???

Little Hanoi...few of them..too bad they did not accept credit card and we dig out all our DONG for this meal...Gosh its really terrible~ but the food is nice though as recemmended!

our trip to the perfume pagoda...do not have any scent though kekeke.we took about 45mins boat ride under the sun but we had our shades right on our head...some nice pics i have taken..i think not bad o..heee



Our last activity in Hanoi was Puppet Show...reasonable and interesting...

Penang trip on 5th Aug 08 ~ 8th Aug 08

PEnang FOoD!!! WHere got DAMN NICeee ...so so saja laa...KCh has much more tastier food lor!

Once arrived, we went to Red Dragon...the famous food spot in town...the environment not bad..got aunties and uncles dancing dancing there...pom cha pom cha...very cute neh...

we eat and eat till around 12mid...zzzz...eat...zzz...condition...

the next morning, our first breakfast was BAK CHANG...recommended by AH SHIEN wo...very dissapointing...the yam cake...err i think yikes...we ordered a big Chang with meat and another one with bean paste...so so saja neh...the red bean soup i think was okay..but my friends said not good...thank god we didnt lose control ordering more than 2...haha all satu satu biji saja except for yam cake...2 plates...didnt finish lo...so let it la liang there...kekeke~

okay this is next...KEK SENG KOPITIAM...the lo bak nice very different from our local, pie tie & popiah...err so so... the ice kacang also special got ice cream...the durian ice cream NICE NICE! as for asam laksa..this one not as good as the one Ah eng de Li Jia Xing had..

TA DA...our model ah eng de Li Jia XIng eating her Asam Laksa (the best i recon) and Famous ICe kacang in PEnang...see that see that a lot of ppl quequeing for it...very nice shot...aunty aunty looking over the stall...macam ada emas anih ho...

this one ah...say liao also headache...the driver said the best oyster pancake in town wo...we ordered 2 plates one go...mana tahu...okay a bit of chacoal taste, not much taste lor...aduh mak pak bang kak dik...wordless...

Gurney Drive... didnt take any photo on the food that we had...same lor..cha kueh tiao,rojak,osyter,indian rojak..so so nia the taste..i think cater mostly for foreigners , but i recon the MA LA Wanton Mee is Syok!

Another penang local delight that i love most is the ROjAk near USM...the uncle mixed the sauce with gula melaka?? erm not so sure.....nice lo..the paste pekat pekat one..yummy yummy...we had 4 plates...oh the claypot rice there also not bad...no no to the cha kueh tiao there :)

my sis told me the ice kacang near her uni also damn nice... but they open when they are song...unlucky us... we went... they boh song that day... an chuo cho... sigh~

In conclusion, count count... we had 6 oyster pancakes during these 3 days except kelly & Eng, they had 7... many chae kueh tiao, rojaks and asam laksa...okay enough for the food...come come tour a bit...

We stayed in a suite at NAza Hotel with beach view...woo...my mates were super excited...high chinnnn...from the pic, u see the 4 condos behind us...they are known as 4 Heavenly King...it costs a few million for an apartment coz actually paying for one whole floor...i think no longer call it as apartment...its erm...a flying house...a house hanging in the middle of the air...kewl~

Adventure 2 Sibu,Bintulu N Miri

Didn’t do anything much in Sibu during my 1st day alone...simply just wait, but wait and waiting in chris's paradise... till our bus trip to miri at night..

ta da....MIRI finally! 3 days 2 nights...After 13 years!

We reached Miri at 5am in the morning, charles picked us up with his sleepy face hehe...then we were abandoned in his house as he was busy during the day...

come to the rescue was SIm Boon...as i couldnt stand eating popcorn as my breakfast, i decided to ask her to bring us out lor...around 11.30am, we had tim sum, 1 ordered laksa and he complaint that as he was like SIAK SEI (in foochow) wahahaha! miri ler not kuching who ask u makan laksa there...blek!

After breakfast, together we went to visit a very special friend of mine....

charles was absent for his bussiness dealing...

but this is what charles and me bought for her...lovely flowers...

Next, SimBoon brought us to this amazing spot haha....Lambir Hills National Park,
located along the Miri-Bintulu Road..famous for its few waterfalls...according to her, its very nice 10 years ago...coz we were quite dissapointed with our 1st ever trekking experience to the waterfalls with our jeans and slippers on...the water is yikesss...Boon o Boon...there is construction going on around that area laaa....thats why the water boo boo...

Dinner at Fratini's Restaurant,Miri. My Butterfly Iced Tea...no butterfly in it lor...taste like a combination of orange and sour plum powder mix with tea.

From left: Antipasto, our starter costs us RM100...very happening...fettucini carbonara and seafood spagetti...so so only...pizzas...one is seafood pizza but i dont even catch a glimpse of seafood as for the other one no comment..not trying it out...but i believe below average...so mean Hor... cham! i still prefer merdeka palace...gracie out there...i will bring u there if u happen to come to kch lor k...hugs!

after walking along the beach...we had dinner at Siamese Secrets...love this place alot...very comfy...

we ordered a few dishes....but due to the photo boo boo...i didnt upload lor...above: siamese fried noodle, chicken with tortilla wrap n my favourite....TIRAMISU...yummm very creamy and fatteninggggg...syok!!!

the only pic showing we were in Bintulu while on the way heading back 2 sibu...tm,me,kelly,eng n chic at a tower overlooking the industrial area..

reached sibu around evening, then went for our dinner at 8pm...fully booked wo...which is 涮涮鍋!!!

dinner with Charles, Chris, Tm,Eng,Chic,Kelly n not forgetting myself of coz..these were the food ordered by chairman chris that we dumped into our pot…fulllll very fulllll till someone shouted out silently 2 me with this words MCB!!! MUAHAHAHA!!!

i miss the wo tiet very much...purple cabbage with pork...yummy!
